Getting to Playa del Carmen

Every major airport will have direct flights into Cancun International Airport. Coming from Boston it’s just about 4 hours.

We love the app Hopper for watching flight prices. They’ll notify you when there’s a sale, and when the best time to buy is for low pricing. You can find flights for as low as $300 roundtrip this way.

All resorts have ride services that will meet you at the airport. Depending on the size of your group, you can book a black SUV or sprinter van.

The pricing varies by provider and is per car, not per person, so traveling in a group may make things easier. Expect to pay under $100 each way for the van options.

We’ll provide transportation to all wedding-related activities. Playa del Carmen itself is an extremely walkable city.

There aren’t currently ride share apps in the area, but a lot of taxis the hotels help you organize. They’re very affordable and we recommend getting cash out at the airport in case you end up grabbing one.
